Firefighter Delaney Sutton needs a good rest. Her job is no longer enjoyable. Nightmares of a deadly explosion that killed a close co-worker and put her on sick leave for six months are waking her up at night. Her chief thinks she needs to take time off to decide if firefighting is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. To top it all off, her sisters are complaining that she does not spend enough time with her family.
When Delaney makes up her mind to travel to Hatteras Island to stay at her family's beach house, she expects a quiet, relaxing break from her problems. Gareth Collins is helping with his family for the summer. When he goes to the Sutton beach house to repair a washer, he has no idea that the women there are planning his future, complete with a wife and children. He finds the youngest Sutton interesting and wants to get to know her better, but he is often mystified by the close relationship she has with her sisters.
Will Delaney get the rest she needs? Will Delaney and Gareth find time to spend together without the interference of her sisters? Will their attraction to each other influence Delaney's decision to leave the career she has wanted all her life?

I really enjoyed this book because of the bond of sisterhood and the decisions we all must make for our futures. Delaney is a unique character that must decide where her future will take her. Through many struggles, she finally begins to open up and with that, her future seems brighter.Her sisters are hysterical & make for a very lighthearted story. And you cannot forget about the wonderful man that is Gareth! I look forward to reading more books by Katrina Thomas.

I really enjoyed reading this story with the fairy tale ending. This is the way some families are--very, very close!
Great book, i Love it how the author play the characters. It is very passionate and Family oriented.
a fun book to read! I'm sure many of us have been in the same situation! The extent the sisters went too were hysterical!
Good story line and I can almost smell the water! Interesting characters with real life lessons. I enjoyed it immensely.
I felt the story was fun and I loved that the sisters were so close. I think Delaney was smart not to jump in a relationship to soon after what happened at work.
It had a couple of slow spots in the book but was a nice romantic read. I had never read this author again but will look for more of her books.
A nice story about a close family, especially the 4 sisters, who are determined to find their youngest sister her true love. Also, about her dilemma about her being a firefighter after a tragic loss of her friend and coworker in an explosion. Really good!!
